My family just did the Carter tour and Carnton Plantation tour a few weeks ago. It was $35 per person for the value ticket to see Carter House, Carnton plantation and the Lotz House. You can buy the value ticket from any of the 3 houses. Each tour last about 45 minutes to an hour (depends on your tour guide and how big the group is). If you buy tickets individually, the Carter House and Carnton Plantation are $18 per person per site. Lotz House is $10 per person. We waited about 15-30 minutes for a tour start at each site, but that gives you a chance to explore the self guided places on the grounds.
