Very interesting review(s) of the Hell's Canyon Jet Boat Excursion. We will be on the American Empress river boat around mid-November, 2020 on their Snake / Columbia River cruise. Is this the premium experience they advertise?

What exactly is advertised? We were not on a cruise. We booked on our own.
Are the waters rough? I do get seasick on the ocean.

The water is "choppy" but the boat is 42 feet and the captain is very experienced - don't believe you would feel seasick on this ride and besides it is well worth it

The full day tour will take you to the deepest portions of Hells Canyon and is a great tour with lots of information. It also makes a few more stops at historical locations along the river. The half day tour is our most popular of the two tours. Mainly because the length and time which is great for families. It also includes the same lunch as the full day tour. The main difference between the two is the length and the half day tour does not take you to the deepest part of the Canyon. Hope this helps, either you choose will be great for your travels.
