Annabel Sutherland and Travis Head are named Australia's top cricketers at an awards night missing the country's best men's cricket players.

It was the first time for each player to win Australian cricket's highest individual honours. While Head was a favourite for the top men's prize, also claiming the one-day international player award, Sutherland was third in the one-day voting and a distant sixth for the women's T20I international award.

Star batter Travis Head was named the winner of the prestigious Allan Border Medal for the top Australian men’s cricketer, while young all-rounder Annabel Sutherland was awarded the Belinda Clark Medal at the Australian Cricket Awards held here on Monday.

Travis Head has won the 2025 Allan Border Medal as Australia’s top male cricketer of the past 12 months, while Annabel Sutherland took out the Belinda Clarke Award for the top female.

Travis Head and Annabel Sutherland were voted Australia’s cricketers of the year, both winning the awards for the first time in a dominant year for the national teams.
