Terence Crawford has announced his retirement from boxing. The 38-year-old is going out on top, having claimed the title of best pound-four-pound boxer with a convincing victory over Canelo Alvarez in September.
The Lithuanian, who was 21-0-1 at the time, was renowned for his power and looked to have ‘Bud’ hurt at one point. Crawford was even sent down in the third round, but cries of knockdown were dismissed by the referee, who ruled it as a slip.

Canelo wants Crawford rematch on his return
Canelo Alvarez is setting his sights on a return to the ring in September 2026, with his top priority being a rematch against Terence Crawford. Canelo's manager, Eddy Reynoso, recently confirmed the Mexican star will skip his traditional Cinco de Mayo fight date in May.
