Indonesia is the second ASEAN nation to strike a tariff deal after US President Donald Trump's ultimatum to a list of countries. Whether it's a good deal for Jakarta depends on who you ask.

President Trump said Tuesday that he had struck a trade agreement with Indonesia, calling it a “great deal for everybody” in a social media post.

The country has also agreed to purchase $15bn worth in US energy, $4.5bn in American agricultural products and 50 Boeing jets, he later wrote on social media.
