A second-row headrest issue may seem small, but it’s enough to trigger a recall due to noncompliance with federal safety standards.

Faulty second-row headrests may not lock in the upright position, increasing the risk of injury to passengers, according to federal safety regulators.

Chrysler reported the recall to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration on July 17. The recall affects 121,398 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee L vehicles from model years 2023 and 2024.
