Uber and Lyft announced they are offering free rides for evacuees in an effort to help those impacted by the devastating wildfires in Southern California.

New York City’s congestion pricing is scheduled to take effect Sunday — but for the first month, Lyft said it will be crediting riders who pay the fee.
