The third edition of the in-season men's college basketball Power Rankings brings with it a third change at the No. 1 spot. And after what we saw this week from Dusty May's Michigan team in Vegas, the Wolverines left no doubt about whether their newfound standing at the top is deserving.

Coen Carr had nine of his 15 points in the second half after Jeremy Fears Jr. scored 10 of his 14 points in the first half, helping No. 7 Michigan State remain unbeaten with a 71-52 win over Iowa on Tuesday night in the Big Ten opener for both teams.

Michigan basketball is No. 1 in KenPom and No. 1 in the initial NET rankings. Now, it's Dusty May's job to keep Wolverines there as long as possible.
