Instead, five quarterbacks were selected before him before the Browns used their fifth-round pick to draft him. Cleveland even passed on him two rounds earlier when it selected Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel in the third.

While waiting to finally hear his name called, Sanders was prank called by someone pretending to be Saints GM Mickey Loomis. Turns out the prankster was the son of Falcons' defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich, who had to apologize after the fact. Yikes.
