OSLO, Norway (AP) — Norwegian prosecutors on Monday announced that they have indicted the eldest son of Norway’s crown princess on multiple charges including rape after a lengthy investigation.

Marius Borg Hoiby has been under investigation since his arrest in August 2024 on suspicion of assaulting a girlfriend.

The son of Norway's crown princess has been charged with rape, domestic violence, assault and other crimes following a year-long police investigation, a prosecutor said on Monday.
