A Memorial Day service at the Cicero Cemetery, 8554 Brewerton Road precedes the parade at 10:30 a.m. Parade will begin at 11 a.m. at Brewerton Road and end at the American Legion on Legionnaire Drive. There will be a memorial service at the Legion monument followed by a lunch.
"Every day is Memorial Day for those of us that served in combat," said Army Ranger veteran Mark Sheridan, an 83-year-old Purple Heart recipient.
The National Weather Service forecasts mixed weather for New York boroughs, including showers and high rip current risk along the southeast coast, with sunny spells expected by Memorial Day.
