More than a dozen twisters ripped across the US Wednesday, including a tornado in Owasso, Oklahoma, that damaged buildings, utility poles, and trees.

On Wednesday morning, a radar-confirmed tornado touched down near Whirlpool at 76th Street North and Highway 75. It continued northeast toward 86th and Memorial and eventually crossed over Highway 169 before moving into Highway 20. The tornado warnings have ended but severe thunderstorms are still moving through the area.

Owasso residents are dealing with significant damage after a tornado hit the area Wednesday morning. Owasso Police are engaged in road closures, dealing with power lines, and securing neighborhoods to assess damage.
