PLAINVILLE—Town residents, dignitaries and supporters will have a chance to honor fallen local fighter Raymond "Ray" Moreau, who died in the line of duty, during a memorial set for 7 p.m. Tuesday at Plainville High School, town officials said.

Funeral arrangements to honor fallen Plainville firefighter Raymond “Ray” Moreau, who died in the line of duty after responding to a house fire, have been announced. Moreau, 60, died in the line of duty on Sunday after being injured at the scene of a house fire on Maria Road.

Plainville Firefighter Ray Moreau was responding to house fire early Sunday morning when he was struck by a piece of equipment, state police said.
