The Ministry of Civil Aviation stated that the panel will examine the circumstances surrounding the crash and review the current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols in effect.

Only one passenger survived and local media reported that as many as 24 people on the ground were also killed as the plane crashed onto a medical college hostel during the lunch hour

The crash happened just weeks after the company cut a deal with the U.S. government to avoid taking criminal responsibility for a pair of deadly crashes in 2018 and 2019.
