A missing California man’s case has ended in tragedy after his body was discovered in a truck in the Russian River, officials said Saturday.

Authorities released the identity of a Gualala man found dead over the weekend in his submerged vehicle in the Russian River near Jenner

Clifford Souza, 74, was first reported missing on April 23 and was last seen driving in a gray Ford Ranger pickup truck in Gualala, California, around 125 miles northwest of San Francisco, local news outlets KRON4 and Fox 2 reported.
