Unaccompanied migrant children who cross the border will no longer be put in shelters operated by the country's largest provider, Southwest Key Programs, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services announced Wednesday.

The Trump administration has announced it will no longer place unaccompanied migrant children in shelters operated by Southwest Key Programs over allegations of sexual abuse committed by its employees.

The Department of Justice has withdrawn a civil rights lawsuit against Southwest Key Programs. The lawsuit, filed last year, accused the nonprofit of sexual abuse of minors in its shelters. The decision follows a halt in the placement of children and an ongoing review by the Department of Health and Human Services.
