Adin Hill made 32 saves, Tanner Pearson had his first game-winning goal of the season and the Vegas Golden Knights beat the Florida Panthers 4-1 on Sunday night. The Golden Knights came in losers of seven of their last nine and got a much-needed victory over the defending Stanley Cup champions to open their three-game homestand.

As they arrive in California, they'll look to sweep the Anaheim Ducks after the Panthers scored a 3-0 win Saturday night at Amerant Bank Arena. Then it's on to Los Angeles, San Jose and Las Vegas completing the four-game road trip.

Anton Lundell scored for Florida, which was playing its second game in as many nights after cruising to a 7-2 victory against the San Jose Sharks on Saturday.

LAS VEGAS – The Florida Panthers finished their four-game road trip with an even split following a 4-1 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights at T-Mobile Arena on Sunday. Sitting at 29-19-3, the Panthers went 2-2-0 on their trip out west.

Panthers goaltender Spencer Knight, who has been playing some excellent hockey of late, had just earned his second shutout of the season after making 34 saves against the Ducks. Eight of those 34 stops were on high danger shots. “He was unreal,” said Panthers center Anton Lundell. “He made some huge saves and kept us in the game.”
