The Seattle Seahawks enjoyed their Week 8 bye, having moved into first place in the NFC West division. They'll return to action versus the Washington Commanders in primetime on Sunday Night Football in Week 9. Mike Macdonald's Seahawks will possess quite the rest advantage when they next take the field.

Washington was routed 28–7 by the Chiefs on Monday night to fall to 3–5 on the season and has minimal draft capital to improve its outlook.
