Jack Della Maddalena, Islam Makhachev face off for welterweight crown in main event at UFC 322

Islam Makhachev is preparing for a major welterweight title fight. He spoke about his close ties with Khabib Nurmagomedov. A street in Khabib's village bears Makhachev's name. Makhachev aims to honor the legacy of Khabib's late father.
Makhachev is a sizable favorite, which surprises Anik. However, based off of the former UFC lightweight champion's achievements, Anik thinks Makhachev should have never lost his No. 1 pound-for-pound spot to current 155-pound champ Ilia Topuria.
Legacies are on the line Saturday at UFC 322 as two fighters look to join the exclusive group of fighters who have held UFC championships in two different weight classes. In the main event, former lightweight champion Islam Makhachev moves up to welterweight to challenge champion Jack Della Maddalena.
