Wolves put Warriors away

Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry showcased his legendary shooting prowess once again on Friday night. Curry connected on a one-handed shot that he attempted from just outside the tunnel on the opposite end of the court while warming up for Golden State's clash with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Curry had a famous from-the-tunnel pregame tradition at Oracle Arena — which was essentially a very long baseline extended shot — but with the move to the Chase Center, Curry had to adapt the shot, which is now longer than the length of the court. Which is not out of his range, apparently.
Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark couldn't believe Steph Curry knocked down this shot before the Warriors' Friday night game.
Steph Curry returned to the lineup after missing the previous five games with a left quad injury, starting next to Pat Spencer for the first time. Meanwhile, Wolves superstar Anthony Edwards was out with foot soreness, and the Warriors played without Al Horford and Draymond Green.
Minnesota Timberwolves legend Kevin Garnett noticed Stephen Curry wearing his signature shoes prior to the Golden State Warriors' matchup with the Timberwolves on Friday night.
Kevin did not deny that, as the Warriors inched closer to a championship, he feared the media dragging him amid their celebrations. Adding to it was the fact that the Nets were swept in the first round of the 2022 playoffs. But Durant had nothing but love for his former teammates.
The Golden State Warriors, like most other NBA teams, are also looking to improve their roster in the trade window. The Dubs are in the market to sign a new forward, and their eyes are on the New Orleans Pelicans star Trey Murphy III.
