India registered a 7 wicket victory over England in 5 match T20I series at Kolkata on Wednesday. Indian bowlers dominated with the ball, with Arshdeep Singh reaching a significant milestone by becoming India's highest wicket-taker in T20Is.

Arshdeep Singh scripted history at the Eden Gardens on Wednesday as he dismissed Phil Salt and Ben Duckett of England to become India's highest wicket-taker in T20Is. Starting the match with 95 wickets in the shortest format, Arshdeep first dismissed Salt on the third ball of the first T20I to equal Yuzvendra Chahal.

Arshdeep has been one of the mainstays in the Indian T20I lineup for many years, and went past Chahal in his 61st match in the format. The bowler emerged among a rare breed of left-armers in India, and last week, Arshdeep was also named in the Indian ODI squad for the Champions Trophy.

India pacer Arshdeep Singh became the highest wicket taker for India in the T20Is, surpassing Yuzvendra Chahal. Arshdeep, who now has 97 T20I wickets, reached the milestone during the IND vs ENG 1st T20I in Kolkata on Wednesday (Jan 22).

Arshdeep Singh needs a few more wickets to surpass Pakistan's Haris Rauf to become the quickest pacer to 100 T20I wickets.
