Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior is closing in on a move to Porto, which would free the Gunners up to swoop for Piero Hincapie. Kiwior has been attracting interest from numerous clubs this summer after impressing for Arsenal towards the end of last season.

As reported earlier this month, Arsenal hope to shift both Jakub Kiwior and Oleksandr Zinchenko. Porto are expected to bid for the Polish defender this week. Kiwior, 25, has been with Arsenal since 2023, arriving from Spezia for around £20million, and he has offered cover at left-back and in the heart of defence.

Arsenal are interested in signing Bayer Leverkusen defender Piero Hincapie. The Gunners want a left-sided defender as a priority this summer, with Ecuador international Hincapie emerging as a strong candidate. Arsenal's recruitment staff have watched the 23-year-old extensively, sources told BBC Sport.
