SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - Crews are responding to a fire at a strip mall in Spartanburg County on Saturday. Fire crews with the Spartanburg City Fire Department are on scene at Cedar Springs Road around 6:35 p.m. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.

A Bergen County man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly setting fire to his apartment building and live-streaming it on Facebook.

The Colleton County Fire Rescue reported that three people were transported to a nearby hospital after a reported fire on Saturday afternoon.

I think there was an issue with the stove,” the fire chief said. “He kept trying to light it, and it wouldn’t light. Then it caught on fire and it [the fire] took off too quick.”
