The Commanders announced Mariota was evaluated for a concussion and was cleared, but he was questionable to return with a hand injury. The quarterback did not come back into the game. Mariota went into the medical tent after throwing the ball away and colliding with some of his teammates on the sideline during the third quarter of Sunday's game.
Sam Cosmi suffered a concussion near the end of the Eagles game on Saturday, and has been placed on IR, ending his season. Quinn said that Andrew Wylie will take over for him at RG, the role he played for four weeks this season. Wylie replaced Nick Allegretti at RG, and Chris Paul replaced Brandon Coleman at LG after Week 2.
