More significant changes arrive on Sunday with our winter storm. Winter storm warnings are now in effect beginning tomorrow afternoon for the combination of heavy snow, higher accumulations, blowing snow, and lowered visibility. Total accumulations currently range from 7-9 inches across the Fox Valley and Lakeside to 8-12+ inches in the Northwoods.
"An impactful storm system will move into Michigan Sunday into early next week, with accumulating snow, strong winds, and blowing snow," the National Weather Service in Grand Rapids said on Facebook.
