Laura Hughes, the wife of Georgia teacher Jason Hughes, has made a remarkable plea after the tragic accident that claimed her husband’s life during what authorities described as a prank gone wrong.

A 40-year-old Georgia math teacher is dead after a late-night toilet-papering prank outside his home turned fatal Friday.

“This is a terrible tragedy, and our family is determined to prevent a separate tragedy from occurring, ruining the lives of these students,” she said.
