Met Office issues 21-hour severe weather warning for 21 areas of South East including Surrey
The Met Office this morning has issued a yellow alert for rain - with serious bad weather potentially hitting in a 21 hour window in 83 areas of the UK. The warning is covering parts of East Midlands, East of England, London and South East England, North East England, South West England, Wales, West Midlands, Yorkshire and Humber.
Londoners are set to bask in sunshine and mild weather for much of the week, following a damp and grey start to autumn. After a grey Sunday and a foggy start to Monday, the outlook appears bright with a peak of 19C and mild sunshine expected throughout the day.
