"An impactful storm system will move into Michigan Sunday into early next week, with accumulating snow, strong winds, and blowing snow," the National Weather Service in Grand Rapids said on Facebook. "The best chances for heavy snow will be across the Upper Peninsula, and the snow belts of lower Michigan.

Minnesota weather: Winter storm and blizzard warnings in place for Sunday
A winter storm warning is in place for the Twin Cities from 9 a.m. Sunday to 6 a.m. Monday, and in the Duluth area from 12 p.m. Sunday to 3 a.m. Monday. There is a blizzard warning for the southeastern parts of Minnesota, including the Mankato and Willmar areas from 9 a.m. Sunday to 6 a.m. Monday.
About 20 weather warnings from Environment Canada are set to remain in effect for swaths of the country over the weekend, as the weather agency forecasts more snowfall, blizzards, freezing rain, rain and shivering temperatures from coast to coast.
