Fire and Ash was the highest-grossing film at the box office this weekend with $88 million worth of movie tickets sold in the US and Canada.
The first two 'Avatar' films likewise didn't boast huge pre-Christmas openings, yet went on to become the No. 1 and No. 3 top-grossing films of all time worldwide. And globally, 'Avatar: Fire and Ash' pulled in $345 million,
The graph shows that this week Avatar: Fire and Ash hit its highest popularity of the year while Avengers: Doomsday peaked at a meager 10 last week. Since then its popularity has dropped to a level of just six despite a new trailer dropping every week over the next month.
