The victory allows everyone to take a deep breath while acknowledging that there is much work to be done before Selection Sunday.

Despite Wilkerson being subbed back in with nine minutes remaining, Indiana was unable to get a stop on the defensive end and allowed the Wildcats to extend their lead to 11 points with five minutes remaining.
