Otega Oweh headed to the locker room in the first half of Friday’s game against Alabama after taking a hit to the face. The Kentucky guard was defending against Labaron Philon when he got hit with an inadvertent elbow.

Just when all hope seemed lost for Kentucky on Thursday, Otega Oweh managed to push the Wildcats past the Sooners to continue in the SEC tournament.

Kentucky put away the Oklahoma Sooners to give Mark Pope his first SEC Tournament win as UK’s head coach, but Lamont Butler left the game with an injury.
