The United States has called on both India and Pakistan to resolve their differences peacefully following the deadly April 22 attack in Pahalgam. A State Department spokesperson said the US is monitoring the situation closely and remains in contact with both countries at several levels.

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said that Beijing has always supported Pakistan in its resolute anti-terrorism actions. He reiterated that as a staunch friend and all-weather strategic partner, China fully understands Pakistan’s reasonable security concerns.

Pakistan denies involvement, India remains skeptical, citing evidence of Pakistan-based terrorist groups' involvement.
