The 2025 NFL Draft class is loaded with talent from the SEC, and so many players have already heard their names called during the first round. As picks flew off the board on Thursday evening, many of them had SEC ties, and you might be wondering: How many SEC players were picked in the first round of the draft?

Last season, Florida returned to relevancy after three straight losing seasons, going 8-5 and winning the Gasparilla Bowl over the Tulane Green Wave. Much of Florida's success came from underclassmen, including five-star mega prospect and true freshman DJ Lagway, leading the team to four straight victories to end the season.

The SEC proved once again why it sets the bar in college football, sending 37 players to the NFL through the first three rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft.
