In Tesla's annual financial filing, the company said that last year it sold $430 million worth of its energy storage products to xAI, Elon Musk's AI startup.

Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel has joined a multi-state push against xAI’s generation of nonconsensual images and child porn. The bipartisan group of 35 attorneys general sent a letter to the company—which owns both the X social media platform and the AI chatbot Grok—demanding it take additional steps to address nonconsensual sexual content.

“We assess a lot of AI chatbots at Common Sense Media, and they all have risks, but Grok is among the worst we’ve seen,” Robbie Torney of Common Sense Media said.
