After a month of testing, Verizon is finally rolling out the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update to its Motorola Droid Turbo handsets in the United States.

According to Verizon engineer Jose Arturo on Google+, the Droid Turbo will begin to receive the update to Android 5.1 sometime around mid-June.

Verizon's software update page indicates that the update will not become available to Droid Turbo 2 owners until October 3.
