Kansas City Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo is reportedly a candidate for the New York Jets and Las Vegas Raiders' openings. According to NFL insider Mike Garafolo, both the Jets and Raiders have submitted a request to the Chiefs to interview Spagnuolo.

Former head coach Robert Saleh was fired by the team all the way back in October. At the time, New York had a 2-3 record. After turning things over to interim Jeff Ulbrich, it didn’t go much better. The Jets finished the 2024 NFL season at 5-12.

According to multiple reports, the 45-year-old Jeff Hafley will interview with the New York Jets for head coach after spending the 2024 season with the Packers.

On Oct. 8, after Jets owner Woody Johnson fired Robert Saleh following a 2-3 start, Ulbrich, who was the defensive coordinator, became the team’s interim coach. Johnson hoped Ulbrich would ignite a spark and lead Gang Green to the playoffs. However, Saleh’s firing had the opposite effect.

The Atlanta Falcons have hired former New York Jets defensive coordinator and interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich as their defensive coordinator, the team announced Saturday night. The Falcons interviewed seven candidates for the job, but Ulbrich always was considered the favorite because of his relationship with Falcons head coach Raheem Morris.
