Tensions between the governments of Kenya and Sudan have continued to escalate after Rapid Support Forces (RSF) meetings hosted in Nairobi. RSF went on to sign a “political agreement” charter with its affiliates to establish a “governmental authority” in the areas controlled by the para-military group.

Sudan’s envoy, Al-Harith Idriss al-Harith Mohamed, criticized Kenya for allowing the signing of the RSF’s charter in its country, saying the agreement seeks to dismantle his country.
