President Donald Trump has revoked U.S. security protection for Mike Pompeo, who served as Secretary of State in his first administration and had been a loyal Trump ally before considering a challenge to his presidential campaign.

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and others had their security details, which were believed to be provided by the State Department, pulled despite threats.

The move comes days after Trump signed an executive order revoking clearance for 49 different former intelligence officials.
