Aldi has issued a series of food recalls across the United States over the past three months amid fears that some of the products could make customers sick with potentially deadly food poisoning bugs.

WASHINGTON — Bestway Sandwiches, Inc. is recalling nearly 25,000 pounds of frozen chicken and cheese taquito products that may be contaminated with foreign materials. The items were produced on July 3, 2024, and Sept. 25, 2024.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has announced a recall on frozen chicken and cheese taquitos sold at Aldi due to potential contamination of foreign material. The recall affects 24,870 pounds of the product.

Aldi recalled approximately 24,870 pounds of Casa Mamita Mexican food, specifically chicken and cheese taquitos. The U.S. Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) reported the recall on January 11 after a piece of metal was found in the product.
