CROWN POINT — A Sauk Village man was sentenced to 10 years in prison Wednesday for driving his co-defendants from the scene of a double homicide following a botched robbery attempt in 2021.
The driver killed Wednesday evening in a head-on collision has been identified as a man from Kouts, the Lake County Coroner's Office said in a news release Friday.
