Four people are now behind bars, two of whom are charged with fatally shooting a Massillon man on Wednesday, Jan, 28.

Homicides in Canton more than doubled in 2025, but the total number of homicides in Stark County increased by only one compared to 2024.

Canton Police arrested four people on Wednesday evening in connection with a shooting that left a 20-year-old man dead.

A 20-year-old Massillon man was fatally shot on the evening of Jan. 28 at the Skyline Terrace apartment complex in Canton.

A jury has convicted 3 Canton men of murder and other charges for a fatal shooting at a city home in 2023.

Bryson Barksdale was murdered in April 2023.
