The Fable reboot from Playground Games is making plenty of promises, but thankfully, it isn’t planning to reinvent the Fable gameplay formula.

While many games are adopting multiplayer modes and features, the new Fable reboot is not. The FAQ confirms that the game is a "single-player open-world action-RPG" with no multiplayer.

"Fable" is rebuilt as a modern open-world RPG where choices shape reputation, towns and relationships. The new game is scheduled to launch later this year.
