The GOP's contentious budget bill was approved by the House by the narrowest possible margin last month, and was recently lambasted by former Trump advisor Elon Musk.

The House passed a major Republican bill dubbed "the Big Beautiful Bill'' by President Trump early this morning. According to USA Today, the bill passed the House 215-214, with all Democrats and two Republicans voting against it. The proposed bill that's on par with Trump campaign promises includes changes to Medicaid, taxes and SNAP benefits.
