Before the start of the NFL season, not many people may have predicted that we would see the AFC playoff picture that is currently in place after Week 15. This year has seen new contenders emerge with teams such as the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots currently at the top of the AFC standings.

The New England Patriots are still tasting the bitter pill of a blown 21-0 lead against the Buffalo Bills.

“It is definitely something — you never know, we probably needed it,” wide receiver Stefon Diggs said. “It’s a lesson for sure that you’re going to have to keep that foot on the gas.”
