WWE aired a video on their social media accounts and just minutes ahead of WWE Raw, showing footage of a brawl between Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre that took place at McIntyre's home over the weekend. As SmackDown GM Nick Aldis was reinstating the Scottish Psycopath, Cody showed up.

WWE has revealed a big championship rematch has been booked, and there will be a stipulation to be determined. The top professional wrestling company posted a segment on social media that saw "SmackDown" general manager Nick Aldis make a proposal to the "suspended" Drew McIntyre.

WWE Saturday Night's Main Event XLII kicked off with Cody Rhodes and Oba Femi locking horns in a massive bout.
