The Texas legislature began a special legislative session on Monday to address 18 legislative items identified by Gov. Greg Abbott, including redistricting.

"They will be cabined inside the Texas Capitol until they get their job done," said Abbott after Democrats bolted for D.C. to fight to keep drive-thru and 24-hour voting options.
