Nothing like playing Las Vegas Raiders to get a team right
The Raiders had been good to start games defensively. But for the third straight game, Las Vegas allowed a long touchdown drive to open the game. The Eagles cruised down the field on a 13-play, 67-yard drive that took seven minutes, nine seconds off the clock.
NFL legend Rob Gronkowski roasted the Las Vegas Raiders after the AFC West lost to the 31-0 to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. The Eagles hosted the Raiders amid a two-game losing streak and surrounded by a lot of doubts regarding their offense.
The Eagles kept Las Vegas off-balance all afternoon. They racked up 387 yards (204 passing, 183 rushing). They averaged 5.9 yards per play. They converted 10 of 13 third-down attempts, thanks to manageable distances to gain. And they punted only once.
The Las Vegas Raiders' quarterback situation appears to be taking a turn for the worse before the end of the NFL season.
The Eagles held the Raiders under 100 total yards and finally got their third-down offense rolling in a 31-0 beatdown of the Raiders.
