The Indianapolis Colts competed, fought, and clawed to pull off the improbable against the Seattle Seahawks, but ultimately fell short, 18-16. After signing Philip Rivers to lead the squad, many believed this would be a disaster - I was essentially one of those people.

The Seattle Seahawks avoided disaster in Week 15 by narrowly defeating Phillip Rivers and the Indianapolis Colts 18-16. The team failed to score a touchdown and relied on six field goals from Jason Myers, including a 56-yard game-winner with 22 seconds remaining. The struggling offense received little to no contributions from its rushing attack.

Seattle escaped Week 15 with a win, but it could have been a lot easier if they hadn’t made poor choices on the inactives.

The big thing to take from this is the 49ers offense: If it can be crisp and clean, they can win anywhere. The defense, on the other hand, can slow the opposition down, but it’s not going to win you games in the postseason. It’s Brock Purdy’s time to shine for the rest of the year. If the 49ers can manage to win it all, it’s because of him.

In the 26-0 victory over the Vikings in Week 13, the Seahawks offense recorded just 219 total yards. In the Week 14 win over the Falcons, Seattle was tied at the halftime break, 6-6. What kind of faith do we have in this Seahawks offense? At the very least, they are prone to slow starts.

The good news is that the Seahawks can review their bad offensive footage and try to elevate each unit as they prepare for the Rams. Darnold still had good moments against the Colts, but now he must avenge himself against Los Angeles after throwing four interceptions in the Seahawks’ 21-19 Week 11 road loss to their rivals.
