The Denver Nuggets have had a great 2024-25 season thus far with a 28-17 record through 45 games but suffered a crushing loss against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday in a second-round playoffs matchup from last year.

Russell Westbrook finished the loss with 13 points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals while shooting 6/10 from the field and 0/3 from the three-point range (he also had four turnovers). Many people reacted to his performance on social media.

After recording 21 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists against the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday, Westbrook is averaging 13.2 points, 6.8 assists and 5.1 rebounds in 38 games this season. Westbrook has started 17 games for Denver and is averaging 15.3 points, 6.9 rebounds and 8.2 assists in those contests.

With Russell Westbrook in the starting lineup, the Nuggets are 18-5 this season. After a couple of tough seasons with the Lakers and Clippers, the veteran guard is providing value on and off the court in Denver.
