According to the Daily Mail, Reiner, 78, told friends at O’Brien’s bash he was “petrified” of his son Nick, who has been charged with killing his two parents. “I can’t believe I’m going to say this but I’m afraid of my own son. I think my own son can hurt me,” Reiner allegedly said.
He and his father, the director Rob Reiner, also worked together on a film that was loosely inspired by the son’s early life.
